Transaction Recruitment are supporting our Fareham based client in their search for an experienced Payroll Team Leaderto join them on a permanent basis. You will be working as part of a successful department and will be responsible for leading a sub-team which is responsible for managing multiple weekly and monthly payrolls. My client is looking for a proactive candidate with a passion for payroll and demonstrable experience of working in a fast paced environment. This position offers hybrid working upon completion of training.
Daily duties and experience required includes:
- Minimum of three years payroll experience in a fast paced environment
- Ability to motivate team members with one to one meetings/appraisals
- Start to finish ownership of large or complex payrolls
- Payroll bureau experience would be advantageous
- Overseeing payment runs
- Onboarding new client payrolls
- Compiling reports for senior management
- Management of escalated queries
