Specialising in the housing development industry this company is one of the region's highest-regarded family-owned housing providers, built on the foundations of good people and hard work. You will be given the opportunity to work on a range of aspects with no two days the same, you will primarily be working with a team of Planners on projects and ensuring continued success playing a crucial role within the company's growth.
In this role, you will take on several responsibilities ranging from inspecting sites to dealing with local planning authorities and completing receipts of planning permission. Managing the entire process and ensuring everything runs smoothly. You will be dealing with sites ranging in size from 30 to 300 units as well as dealing with any future land promotion initiatives which you will be managing from start to finish.
Therefore, the Ideal candidate will be a Senior/Managing Planner with experience with Local Authority or Residential Construction with specific experience with Planning Processes and regulations in relation to planning approval. strong communication skills will also be essential as well as negotiation skills.

The Person:
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a planner or higher
- Experience in addressing council officers and committee members
- Strong Communication and Objection-handling skills
- Experience in planning approval
- Able to work collaboratively with a range of people
