This is an exciting opportunity for a Planner to join a highly reputable region leading, closely knit family-owned housebuilder. Which have great growth plans in place for the coming years. Alongside a variety of work, there is support for RTPI qualifications as well as a clear progression plan and generous package.

Specialising in the housing development industry this company are one of the regions highest regarded family-owned housing providers, built on the foundations of good people and hard work. You will be given the opportunity to work on a range of aspects with no two days the same, you will primarily be working with Senior Planners on projects and ensuring continued success playing a crucial role within the company's growth.

In this role, you will take on several responsibilities ranging from assisting with inspection of sites to dealing with local planning authorities and completing receipts of planning permission. Assisting with the entire process to ensure smooth and successful projects. You will be dealing with sites ranging in size from 30 to 300 units as well as dealing with any future-land promotion initiatives which you will be working from start to finish.

Therefore, the Ideal candidate will have a planning background with experience working on Residential Projects with either a private or local authority background. Strong communication skills will also be essential as well as negotiation skills.

  • Assisting with Planning applications

The Person:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience as a planner
  • Experience in addressing council officers and committee members
  • Strong Communication and Objection-handling skills
  • Experience in planning approval
  • Able to work collaboratively with a range of people and in a team environment
