Data Analyst - Portsmouth - £45k

Great opportunity for an experienced data analyst to join a fast-growing software development company based near Portsmouth! You will work with a team of like-mided data driven professionals and expand your career in data by gaining valuable back and front end experience using SQL and Google Looker!

Role & Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will have strong experience using SQL, someone who understands SQL databases, tables and has the ability to write SQL queries to extract the data from source
  • Using Google Looker to produce data visualisations
  • Develop comprehensive reports and visual aids using raw data to closely monitor and track KPIs
  • Turning large data sets into meaningful insights that drive business decisions
  • Support forecasting processes through detailed data analysis
  • Perform data mining using Google BigQuery to uncover insights
  • Collaborate with various departments, such as Billing, Support and Software Development to communicate data findings and trends
  • Update and distribute daily performance reports to keep the team informed about business performance.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis for the FP&A team on key company metrics, marketing activities, pricing, or product usage.
