Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Hampshire.

Role Purpose
  • Ensure all students, especially vulnerable ones, receive top-level safeguarding and wellbeing support.
  • Develop and implement strategies that improve student health, attendance, and success.
  • Work with leadership to assess and improve safeguarding services using data and feedback.
Main Duties
  • Lead and manage the safeguarding team, providing guidance and performance appraisals.
  • Act as the main safeguarding contact, ensuring all procedures meet legal requirements.
  • Oversee and improve safeguarding interventions to boost student attendance and success.
  • Manage safeguarding records, ensuring timely support for students in need.
  • Organize training for staff to improve safeguarding awareness and student support.
  • Collaborate with safeguarding leads across campuses to maintain a consistent approach.
Requirements
  • Previous relevant safeguarding experience
  • Experience managing a team
  • Able to start ASAP
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Right to work in the UK
