Join our client and their technical team in Fareham, as a Production Operative. The company is a manufacturing organisation, they produce parts for a diverse range of industries including Marine, Defence, Medical-tech, Automotive, and General Industry.
- Job Title: Production Operative
- Location: Fareham
- Job Type: Full-time – Temporary contract
- Days/Hours: Monday-Friday / 08:00-16:00
- Hourly Rate: £11.44 per hour
Day-to-day of the role:
- Prepare materials and workstations for production tasks.
- Sanding / Filling
- Perform painting and paint preparation tasks.
- Set up and clean down production areas.
- Handle packing and shipping duties.
- Conduct manual handling tasks as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic and a motivation to learn are essential.
- Experience in machining and assembly work is preferred.
- Must be physically fit and able to work on your feet for the entire shift.
- Ideal for a motivated self-starter and quick learner who is technically minded.
