Our client is a specialist Mortgage Brokerage, focusing on the contractor/umbrella market.
They are looking to recruit Mortgage Advisors to join their busy team, based on-site in Fareham. The role is initially office based but hybrid options are available once established within the business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for advising clients on the most suitable mortgage products, providing expert guidance on the process of acquiring a mortgage, and ensuring a smooth experience for all clients. Additionally, they will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, mortgage lenders, and other industry professionals.
Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience as a Mortgage Advisor, Mortgage Consultant or a Specialist Mortgage Broker.
Fully qualified to give mortgage advice (CeMap qualified or equivalent)
Demonstrated expertise in mortgage advising, brokering, ideally with knowledge of the self employed market.
Proven track record of delivery outstanding results and hitting targets in a high paced sales environment
Excellent communication skills and ability to build and maintain client relationships, working both independently and in a team environment.
Strong knowledge of lender criteria, alongside the ability to match and present suitable mortgage products to clients.
Sound knowledge of compliance requirements, regulations and legislation associated with mortgage broking and underwriting.
Computer-literate with excellent analytical abilities, numeracy and IT skills
Amply attentive to details with exceptional ability to work under pressure and meeting strict deadlines
