The Mortgage Broker RoleAs a Mortgage Broker your role is to provide specialised mortgage advice to contractors and freelancers in the UK who may have unique financial circumstances. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Guiding clients through the entire mortgage process, from identifying the most suitable mortgage product
  • Completing the application process, and ensuring that the mortgage is completed on time.
  • You will need to have excellent communication skills,
  • Be knowledgeable about mortgage products and regulations
  • Be able to build strong relationships with clients.
  • You will also need to stay up to date with market changes and new mortgage products to ensure that you are providing clients with the best possible advice.

Mortgage Broker desired skills and experience

  • A minimum of 12 months experiences as a Mortgage Broker / Mortgage Advisor
  • A solid understanding of the UK property market
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • The ability to work independently with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Appropriate professional qualifications, such as the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) or equivalent.
