Accounts Senior / Client Manager Fareham based Hybrid / flexible working - Modern firm £30,000 - £40,000 An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Accounts Senior / Client Manager to join a successful and growing accountancy firm in Havant. This is a modern practice which can offer flexible, hybrid working, autonomy and support to progress to manager. Having come about due to the expansion of the practice, this role will lead a sub-team of 4. Mentoring juniors and reviewing their work. Mentoring or people management experience is not required and the role will offer plenty of support to allow you to develop into a good quality manager. Day to day, this role will manage a portfolio of clients, preparing year end account through to submission, quarterly VAT returns and corporation tax. You will also become involved in client management, dealing with clients face to face and virtually to answer any financial queries and review accounts. Benefits:

Duties:

  • Manage a portfolio of varied clients,
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment. - (no experience required)
  • Responsible for year-end accounts preparation through to submission, VAT returns, and corporation tax computations.
  • Conduct account review meeting with clients.
  • Answer financial queries relating to year end accounts and tax planning.

Requirements:

  • Ideally you will be part ACA / ACCA qualified or above - ACA / ACCA finalists or nearly / newly qualified accountants will also be suitable.
  • Proven experience in a similar, UK based role is essential.
  • Experience preparing year-end accounts through to submission.
  • Experience preparing and submitting VAT returns and corporation tax.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
