- Running the weekly payroll, ensuring compliance and liaising with HMRC
- Producing timely and accurate management account packs and discussing financials with business unit managers
- Job profitability and margin reporting – working with the production team to assess costs and profitability
- Overseeing transactional accounting, managing sales ledger, credit control, purchase ledger and bank reconciliations
- Process and system improvements, identifying opportunities to enhance reporting efficiency
- Overseeing the statutory financial statements for each business unit
- Liaising with auditors at year-end, addressing queries and ensuring adjustments are processed correctly
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as Finance Manager / Management Accountant / Finance Director / Head of Finance / Accountant
- Studying or qualified in ACCA / CIMA / ACA is desirable
- Willingness to travel to Farnborough once a week
