Chilworth Partnership are working with a rapidly expanding and acquisitive services business, based near Fareham, in their search for a Head of FP&A. Reporting to the CFO, responsibilities will include:

  • Act as Business Partner with department and division leads across, providing in depth financial analysis and support.
  • Ownership and development of month end reporting, including the group reporting pack to our shareholders.
  • Manage, develop and inspire a team of finance professionals. 
  • Lead role in group budgeting and ongoing forecasting.
  • Identification and implementation of a new financial reporting solution to help the Group transition from or optimise its current Excel based reporting.
  • Acquisition vendor deferred consideration and earnout statements.
  • Working close with the CFO and Head of Finance as part of the effective finance function delivery across the organisation.

You will:

  • Be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Have operated at the level of at least Finance Manager with FP&A experience.
  • Have team management experience.
  • Have previous use of PowerBI/PowerQuery (desirable).
  • Be able to implement reporting processes.
  • Have outstanding communication skills, with ability to communicate complex financial information to department leads. 
  • Have the ability to take ownership and responsibility for tasks and projects, working autonomously and collaborating as needed with key stakeholders.
