Paraplanner

Financial planning practice based in Fareham providing financial advisory services to a large network of clients across the South are expanding their team with a requirement for a Paraplanner.

The ideal candidate will have obtained their diploma or be one exam away, you will have been working within a IFA practice and have suitability report writing experience.

As the Paraplanner you would be supporting a team of financial advisors with whole of market suitability report writing and research, working on Financial Express Analytics, O&M, Cashcalc, Iress Exchange and Enable.

In return you will receive a salary of upto £40,000 and a benefits package to free onsite parking, 3% employer and 5% employee contribution, Holiday entitlement of 20 days plus bank holidays plus 1 day for your birthday plus the days between Christmas and New Year when the office shuts- Holiday entitlement increases by 3 days after 3 years of service, a further 1 day after 5 years, another 1 day after 7 years until the maximum of 26 days plus banks is achieved after 10 years of service, Annual bonus scheme of up to 5% of salary, flexible working hours, and the ability to work from home 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

§ Once in receipt of a completed 'factfind’, collate all the relevant quantitative detailed information required to compile a financial services report

§ Check all paperwork / information is available to ensure that the client file meets the FCA’s rules and requirements

§ Discuss the client’s needs and objectives with the relevant adviser.

§ Undertake research to identify suitable solutions to meet the client’s needs and objectives

§ Prepare information for analysis by the adviser

§ Prepare draft recommendation report, whether that be for new plans or ongoing suitability

§ Discuss draft recommendation report with the relevant adviser

§ Obtain 'sign-off’ by the relevant adviser

§ Produce a suitability report which is sent to the client
