Contract Length: 12 months, initially running until December 2025. Extensions likely

Pay Rates:

  • Starting PAYE Rate (excluding holiday pay): £16.28 per hour
  • Starting PAYE Rate (including holiday pay): £18.65 per hour
  • Overtime: Paid at time and a half for hours over 37 per week; double time on Sundays

After 12 Weeks:

  • PAYE Rate (excluding holiday pay): £16.77 per hour
  • PAYE Rate (including holiday pay): £19.21 per hour
  • Overtime: Paid at time and a half for hours over 37 per week; double time on Sundays

Core Working Hours: 37 hours per week

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am - 4:15 pm
  • Friday: 7:30 am - 11:30 am

Role Overview: Due to recent promotions, we seek an experienced CMM Inspector who can make an immediate impact. Proficiency in Aberlink and PC DMIS software is preferred.







Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment and uphold high housekeeping standards as per Eaton guidelines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive and sustain continuous improvement initiatives within the cell.
  • Inspection & Measurement:
    • Interpret technical drawings and specifications, including GD&T references.
    • Perform inspections to ensure conformance to specifications and purchase orders.
    • Provide inspection coverage as required, following quality protocols and procedures.
  • Quality Support:
    • Assist with quality investigations and conduct First Article reports.
    • Monitor statistical process control data for ongoing production.
    • Participate in non-conformance investigations using precision measuring tools.
  • Programming & Operation: Program and operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and specialised inspection equipment.
  • Product Approval: Sign off on items as compliant, using an authorised stamp.

Requirements: Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK, with unrestricted adherence to ITAR regulations.
