Our client, a leading organisation in Air Traffic services, is currently seeking a dedicated Copy Editor to join their team on a contractual basis. This exciting role is focused on creating and refining technical training content to ensure clarity, compliance, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and edit technical training content to ensure clarity, conciseness, and readability while preserving the core message.
  • Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on content to identify and correct errors in grammar, punctuation, spelling, and syntax.
  • Ensure all content adheres to relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Maintain consistency in style, tone, and terminology across all training materials.
  • Collaborate with content creators and subject matter experts to incorporate feedback and refine materials.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to enhance the effectiveness and engagement of training content.
  • Keep detailed records of edits and maintain version control for all documents.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and ensuring high-quality output.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to align on project goals and deliverables.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in technical writing and editing.
Job Requirements:
  • Experience in editing technical training content, particularly within the Defence/Aerospace sector.
  • Excellent command of the English language, with strong grammar, punctuation, and spelling skills.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards in technical content.
  • Ability to maintain consistency in style, tone, and terminology across documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in collaborating with various stakeholders, including content creators and subject matter experts.
  • The ability to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry developments and best practices.
