As a Brazing Operator, you will focus on the assembly of ceramic materials for future Aerospace components. You will use a variety of ceramic brazing practices and post brazing testing to deliver a high standard of finish for all Aerospace material projects.

What You'll do:

As a Production Brazing Operator, you will:

  • Braze ceramic materials through Paste Brazing, Brazing Powders, Injection Brazing, and other practices
  • Braze ceramics to high heat in a furnace/oven and ensure quality is kept
  • Perform Helium leak rig testing after heat and ensure safety and proper finish
  • Keep to safety requirements and company standards

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience with Paste Brazing, Injection Brazing, or using Brazing Powders
  • Experience on Brazing within ceramics within a manufacturing environment
  • Use of furnaces/ovens for heating of materials
  • Understanding of Helium Leak rig testing
  • Eagerness for career progression and a team-player

What else do you need to know?

  • Full training is provided at every step
  • The hours for this role are on day shifts (08:00-16:30 Mon-Thu, 08:00-13:00 Fri, with earlier start/finish available!)
  • Substantial overtime available on evenings, nights and weekends once fully trained
