Sonic Summary

The company is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join a vibrant and fast-paced environment within an established IT MSP/Reseller firm with around 200 employees and a turnover of approximately £100 million.
The role involves managing a variety of IT transformational projects, focusing on project delivery, business and client relationship management, and ensuring delivery excellence.
Candidates should have a demonstrable track record of leading teams, managing small to medium projects, and delivering IT transformational projects, along with experience in client-facing roles.
A Prince2 qualification or similar is required, along with sound knowledge of project management methods, budgeting, and procurement management.
The position offers a hybrid working model, 25 days of annual leave, a company pension, and other benefits, with a competitive salary based on experience.

In this role you will get to work on a wide range of IT transformational projects across IT services, cloud, security and infrastructure.

The core areas of focus are within; Project Delivery, Business & Client Relationship Management and Delivery Excellence . This role reports to the Head of Programmes and Project Management.

Knowledge

Sound management, interpersonal and communication skills.
Practical working knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling projects.
Practical working understanding of the procurement management including negotiation, contracting with and management of third parties.
Sound knowledge of project management methods including PRINCE2.
Sound knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
Ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems.

Experience

A demonstrable track record of leading teams and individuals within their area of responsibility.
A demonstrable track record of managing and delivering small-medium non-complex projects (or large complex projects as part of a wider team) within a commercial environment.
Experience of leading effective cross-functional teams.
Skilled at building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to respond effectively to business opportunities.
Client facing, commercial experience gained from working within range of organisations and/or business sectors.
Experience of working with sales teams and other technical and business resources to capture clients’ requirements.
Experience of delivering IT transformational projects.
Experience of managing 3rd party providers and sub-contractors.
Prince 2 qualification or similar.

Monday to Friday - hybrid working (1 to 2 in the office in Segensworth Junc 9 M27).
