QA Test Analyst - Portsmouth - £40k - £45k

My client are an Anti-Virus and Security company based near Portsmouth, seeking a QA Test Analyst to join their growing team. If you have experience in software application testing and are looking for a new role, please reach out as this could be a great fit for you.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with development and operations teams for bug identification and resolution.
  • Conduct UI & UX testing across all supported platforms.
  • Perform proactive and periodic testing of web and software applications.
  • Provide detailed reports on testing activities.
  • Manage QA for app development deployments with support from the test team.
  • Test and sign off development tasks while assisting in broader testing needs.
  • Maintain and manage manual and automated testing platforms (e.g., GhostInspector, TestPad).
  • Update test cases and scenarios as needed.
  • Troubleshoot end-to-end test failures.
  • Support strategic projects as required.

What do I need to apply for the role

  • External testing qualification (e.g., ISTQB) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years in a software testing role.
  • Experience in eCommerce or SaaS environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium) is a plus.
