If so, this could be fantastic opportunity for you to join a great Insurance business, who offer on-going insurance training and excellent personal development for all their staff in a warm and friendly environment. They are now looking for someone to join them as a Customer Service Executive, to deal with Personal Lines Insurance and train to handle Commercial package policies under £10K.  This will need to be initially based in their Wickham office (Near Fareham), but once training is completed and you are fully competent this could then be based in either their Wickham, Winchester or Alton offices.

As a Customer Service Executive on a team of 6, you will be working at the heart of an ambitious expanding local business which enjoys a phenomenal reputation in the local market, being one of the go to insurance firms due to their excellent customer service and product range. You will deal with motor insurance and other personal lines risks as well as commercial SME business handling renewals and mid-term adjustments.

Your primary objective is to ensure that each customer receives efficient resolutions to their queries. You’ll serve as a trusted point of contact, delivering a friendly and empathetic approach to the customers’ needs, offer expert guidance, and provide accurate information about our insurance offering. Your dedication to delivering an exceptional service will contribute to customer satisfaction, loyalty and the overall success of the Business.

You will be self-motivated, driven, and ready promote the business at every turn to achieve the businesses goals as well as your individual targets. Above all you’ll have the ability to translate potential into revenue and relish the challenge to drive the growth of a truly customer focused business, so just as important as your experience will be your attitude and focus on being successful in your career, and a genuine desire to achieve the best possible customer outcome!

This is NOT a high-volume role, as you will be expected to take your time with your clients and make “every call count”, making sure you have the right conversations, and not just a sales/customer service call box ticking exercise. You will be taking around 20-30 calls a day, and they want people who want to make these calls quality ones! 

To be considered for this role, you will ideally need at least 1 years insurance experience, and this can be either personal lines or commercial insurance experience.

Office hours are 9am to 5pm and the salary on offer is £24-28,000 basic depending on experience,  and some great perks, which includes 24 days holiday to start, plus discretionary bonuses after probation as well as an extra “wellness” day available each year and a pension.
