As a Junior Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring operational excellence across our warehouse operations, directly contributing to the satisfaction of our clients across Healthcare, Education, and Leisure sectors.
Day-to-Day of the Role:- Supervise a team of 40, ensuring all shifts run smoothly and efficiently.
- Maintain responsibility for the operational success of all shifts, including vehicle loading, order completion, and timely delivery.
- Manage the warehouse and fridge maintenance to uphold quality and safety standards.
- Engage hands-on in daily activities, including picking, packing, and loading alongside the team.
- Manage a fleet of 13 x 3.5-tonne vans in collaboration with the General Manager (GM).
- Handle the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring a seamless integration.
- Travel to suppliers as needed to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Support the GM with various tasks and take proactive steps to resolve any shortages or issues.
- Energetic and self-motivated with a strong desire to make an impact.
- Resilient and confident, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent self-management skills, able to prioritise effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for identifying and rectifying errors.
- Valid Driving Licence is essential.
- Forklift Licence is preferred but not mandatory.
