Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Warehouse Manager to oversee the efficient operations of our warehouse. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing the daily activities within the warehouse, ensuring the safe storage, handling, and distribution of inventory, and overseeing a small team of warehouse staff. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and experience in warehouse management or logistics.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations Management:
oOversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping.
oEnsure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
oDevelop and implement efficient warehouse workflows and processes to meet operational goals.
oMaintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
Team Leadership & Supervision:
oManage, train, and develop warehouse staff, ensuring high levels of performance, safety, and professionalism.
oAllocate tasks to team members, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse.
oConduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to staff.
oFoster a collaborative and positive work environment.
Inventory Management:
oMonitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement teams to ensure stock levels meet demand.
oWork with the purchasing and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
oUtilize warehouse management software (WMS) to track inventory, manage orders, and optimize space.
Logistics Coordination:
oPlan and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
oOptimize warehouse layout and storage practices to maximize space and efficiency.
oOversee the proper handling, packaging, and labeling of products for shipment.
Safety & Compliance:
oEnsure all warehouse operations comply with company policies, safety standards, and government regulations.
oConduct regular safety inspections and training to prevent accidents and injuries.
oEnsure the proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and machinery (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
Reporting & Documentation:
oMaintain accurate records of inventory movements, shipments, and returns.
oProvide regular updates and reports to senior management regarding warehouse performance, inventory status, and any issues that arise.
oMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications & Skills
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
Experience:
oMinimum of 1-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics, including supervisory experience.
oExperience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
oProven ability to manage a team and implement operational improvements.
Skills:
oStrong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
oExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
oKnowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
oProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and warehouse management software.
oAbility to lift and move heavy items and work in physically demanding environments.
Certifications (Preferred but not required):
oForklift certification or other relevant warehouse equipment certifications.
oOSHA training or other safety certifications.
