We are currently recruiting for a Production Planner to work for our Segensworth based client. This is a busy role that will require someone with a background within technical Manufacturing and looking to progress their career. It will require communicating with production teams and internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for monitoring productions schedules to ensure deadlines are met and adjusting them where needed. Taking a proactive approach to problem solving will be essential. The Role

This is very much a busy production planning role within technical manufacturing. You must be capable of building strong relationships and must enjoy problem solving. Your duties will include:

  • Understanding why production deadlines are not met and adjusting them accordingly
  • Identifying work release orders and confirming those that can be produces on the available manufacturing capacity
  • Using ERP reports to produce daily supply reviews
  • Attending senior meetings to communicate the status of the production plan
  • Ensuring that production activity conforms to best practise principles

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a strong background within production planning or material planning and be confident working with ERP systems. You will need to be keen to progress in your career and demonstrate leadership capabilities. You would ideally be from an engineering/technical background as you will need to understand technical manufacturing techniques.
