Manufacturing Engineer - Highly Competitive Salary

Due purely to growth we are recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a company who will offer tremendous training, further education and certainly progression to become a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in time!

Based near to Fareham working 37.5-hour weeks, this company will offer a competitive salary. 5 weeks holiday, incredible training, and further education, pension up to 11%, discounts at major retailers and importantly a vibrant culture due to continued growth where there are over 200 employed on site.

If you are a few years into your career, have experience within manufacturing engineering and have a particularly good comprehension of the technical documentation that goes alongside best methods for manufacture, then we want to talk to you now!

In this role you will work closely with this companies' manufacturing processes which span across machining, assembly, metal treatments and testing. You will be largely responsible for controlling and implementing process change and improvements to their current manufacturing practices with your role focussing more form the assembly side of things onwards.

You will gain fantastic experience as the company design their own products, machine the components, assemble and test them. You will get involved with determining methods, tooling and processes, compile routings and BOM's (Bill of materials) and even get exposure to 3D design software to understand firsthand how they design and make their products.

There is good proportion of NPI (New product Introduction), development and prototyping in this role. The company are investing heavily in technology and automation and are very much in an era of development.

What do I need to have?

  • Great understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Certified in engineering
  • Strong quality ethic, attention to detail when reporting, writing technical documentation
  • Ideally an understanding of manufacturing engineering with regards to assembly operations
