We are seeking a skilled Deburr Technician to join our aerospace machine shop. In this role, you will be responsible for drilling and deburring aerospace components using a variety of manual techniques. You will be expected to work efficiently within cost constraints and contribute cost-saving ideas where possible. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace in line with 5S Principles is essential.
Shift Pattern:- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM / 7:30 AM - 3:45 PM / 4:15 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM / 7:30 AM - 11:00 AM / 11:30 AM
First 12 Weeks:
- Basic: £16.19 per hour
- Overtime: £24.28 per hour
- Sundays: £32.37 per hour
After 12 Weeks:
- Basic: £16.68 per hour
- Overtime: £25.01 per hour
- Sundays: £33.35 per hour
- Apprenticeship-trained or equivalent experience/training
- Experience working in the aerospace industry or a similar precision engineering environment
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Understanding of SPC data collection and recording results
- Experience with pneumatic handheld deburring equipment, deburring tools, pillar drills, and drilling fixtures
- Skilled in using measuring equipment such as Verniers, micrometers, plug gauges, and screw plug gauges
- Background in mechanical engineering
- Previous experience in drill deburring
- This role is offered on a PAYE basis only.
- Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK, complying with ITAR regulations.
