Naval Architect/Technical Project Manager

My client is looking for a Naval Architect/Technical Project Manager to work on new dynamic project for naval unmanned vessels. The role will include

• Technical management of new product development programmes reporting to both the senior programme manager and the design and development director.
• Leadership and management of engineers working on development projects.
• Platform design covering areas such as stability, structures, arrangements, systems etc.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

Running interdisciplinary teams on small craft (<20m) maritime design and manufacture projects

P&L project management

Liaison with relevant regulatory bodies

Desirable skills, knowledge and experience:

Experience working on the design of platforms for small batch series production

Structural analysis and design

Marine systems design (hydraulics, electrical, fire, bilge etc)
