Job SummaryDue to continued growth in the mechanical side of our client’s business, they are looking for 2 additional Pipefitters/ Commercial Gas engineers to join their team. They are looking for someone with experience in installing, repairing and maintaining commercial heating systems and equipment within commercial and industrial buildings.

DutiesInstall, repair and maintain gas, plumbing and heating systems and components, this will include:

  • Valves, pipework and fittings.
  • Boilers and flues.
  • Pumps, booster sets and pressurisation sets.
  • Above ground soil and waste pipework systems.
  • Sanitary and Brassware.
  • Gas fired water heaters and associated equipment
  • Heating fixtures, equipment and associated equipment.

Perform scheduled maintenance on plumbing systems

  • Apply all codes of practice to installations, repairs and maintenance
  • Ensure all requirements as specified by the manufacturer of systems and fixtures are met
  • Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, and supported
  • Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes of practice.
  • Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet environmental protection requirements
