- Focus on specialised or complex aerospace products and systems, developing conceptual designs and modelling alternatives.
- Conduct scientific analysis and predictive modelling to evaluate and optimise design outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers across mechanical, systems, and hardware disciplines within the organisation.
- Manage and validate formal requirements, demonstrating compliance through design documentation and verification methods like testing and analysis.
- Support project planning, track progress, and contribute to team development, continuous improvement, and process efficiency as a subject matter expert.
- Proficient in 3D modelling and 2D drafting with GD&T expertise, ideally using SolidWorks or AutoCAD Inventor, with knowledge of other tools beneficial.
- Skilled in configuration control, change management, and using configuration management systems for design and production.
- Experienced in Finite Element Analysis, Design FMEAs, and leading teams to deliver compliant designs on time.
- Strong communication skills for conveying complex concepts, preparing reports, and making data-driven decisions to achieve high-quality outcomes.                                                                                                                                                                     Â
