You will be working for an award-winning firm of accountants looking for someone who wants to join a family of like-minded individuals and be more than just a team member.As part of your role as a Payroll Assistant, you will ensure the accurate and timely delivery of client payrolls, undertake general administrative duties and work collaboratively within the payroll hub. You will also be responsible for effectively communicating with clients, offices, HMRC and third-party providers.The firm is looking for someone who has a minimum of one year's payroll experience (preferably within a bureau environment), excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work under pressure whilst meeting tight deadlines. Ideally, you will have a working knowledge of Star/Iris or Sage, have experience of processing payrolls from start to finish, and the ability to carry out manual calculations.You will be joining a forward-thinking, progressive payroll team with a supportive and friendly atmosphere.
