Our client is a friendly firm of Accountants, based to the West of Fareham centre. They are looking for a Part-time Payroll Clerk to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties including:
- Weekly and monthly client payroll duties from start to finish
- Collation of payroll timesheets and entering on to systems
- Calculation of holiday, SMP, SPP and SSP
- Processing statutory deductions
- Calculating bonuses and commissions
- Liaising with HMRC including real time submission
- Processing starters and leavers
- Pension administration
The firm are ideally looking for someone to work circa 20 hours a week, and they can be flexible regarding how these are spread. Previous experience working within a practice or bureau environment would be highly beneficial but not essential. You will need strong previous payroll experience.
