About the Role:
TeamJobs are seeking a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Support Engineer to join our client's team. In this role, you'll oversee production lines, maintain equipment, and ensure product quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll also play a key role in automating manual processes and mentoring apprentices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and set up production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Solve production issues and collaborate to implement solutions.
  • Enhance manufacturing equipment with automation, including PLC programming and robotics (experience preferred).
  • Support and develop engineering apprentices.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.

Hours: 08:30-17:00

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree or qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant engineering field.
  • 10+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally in maintenance or production support.
  • Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a hands-on approach.
  • Knowledge of quality systems and planned maintenance schedules.
  • Flexible attitude, willing to work extra hours when needed.
  • Experience with PLC automation, robotics, and ultrasonic welding (preferred).
