Holt Engineering Recruitment are looking for a skilledWire Personto join our manufacturing client in Fareham.
As a Wire Person, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
Your responsibilities as a Wire Person will include:
- Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics and diagrams to install and wire electrical components, circuits and systems
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical equipment
- Ensure all wiring and installations comply with electrical codes, safety regulations and industrystandards
- Conduct tests on electrical systems to identify faults, diagnose problems and verify the quality of installations
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including diagrams, maintenance logs and service reports.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless project execution
The successfulWire Personwill:
- Have a valid electrical certification or License.
- Have minimum 2 years experience as aWire Person or similar role in the electrical field
- Possess strong knowledge of electrical systems, componentsand wiring techniques
- Have excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Possess strong problem-solving skills
- Be able to work in physically demanding conditions including climbing, bending & lifting heavy objects
- Have previously worked in the military or Aerospace indsutry as a wire person
This Wire Person role offers 37.5 hours a week with an Early finish on Fridays!
Paying up to 15phdepending on experience + Overtime x1.5 !!
