A leading manufacturer of advanced components for the aerospace and high technology sectors have a new vacancy for a Quality Manager to join the team. Joining at a time of significant investment and expansion, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that products meet the highest quality standards and will be responsible setting up new processes & quality systems.

Commutable from: Southampton, Portsmouth, Fareham, Worthing, Havant, Chichester, Winchester.

Salary: £ 45,000 – £ 65,000 + excellent benefits

Suitable For: Quality Manager, Senior Quality Engineer, Head of Quality.

The position:

Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with industry standards.

Coach, mentor and develop Quality function.

Facilitate Corrective Action and Root Cause Analysis activities with other site functions.

Lead and manage internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Analyze quality data and performance metrics to identify trends, root causes of issues, and areas for improvement.

Develop and deliver training programs to enhance quality awareness and skills across the organization.

Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Interface with customers and suppliers to address quality concerns and ensure effective resolution.

Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and stakeholders.

The Candidate

At least 5 years’ experience as Quality Manager or Senior Quality Engineer within the aerospace, automotive, or a similar manufacturing environment.

Experience developing quality and business systems

A good understanding of Lean Manufacturing methodology

Proven people leadership experience

Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
