Job Description:
This company are seeking a motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Hampshire. In this role, the successful candidate will support Senior Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers in the financial and contractual management of construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their career to gain valuable experience and grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Support in the preparation and analysis of tender documents.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to budgets.
- Assist in the measurement and valuation of work done on-site.
- Prepare and process subcontractor and supplier payments.
- Maintain accurate records of project costs and variations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and final accounts.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and project delivery
