Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of their projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage project estimates, cost plans, and financial reports.
- Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Manage procurement, contracts, and payments.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular financial updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to achieve project goals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the water industry or civil engineering sector.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and project financials.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Desirable:
- Experience in the water industry.
- Familiarity with civil engineering projects.
