LGV Refuse Drive/ Chargehand
- Job Role- You will be driving and be fully responsible for our clients Refuse Collection Vehicles. You will supervise the Team Members in providing a front-line service.
- Responsibilities-
As a member of a team, undertake duties associated with the collection, loading, transportation & disposal of household, recycling, garden and commercial waste.
路 Supervise, guide and direct your crew, making sure they always follow health and safety rules and safe systems of work.
路 Undertake waste loading duties at every opportunity that is reasonable.
路 Act in a professional manner and respond to issues raised by householders concerning the waste collection service.
路 Conduct daily vehicle safety checks before use, following transport procedures
路 Complete paperwork and offer written feedback information (Bin Hangers) to householders
路 Assist other crews in collection, loading, transportation and disposal duties
路 On any day when you are not undertaking driving duties you will undertake other duties as required by your manager.
- Requirements-
A full, clean, LGV and full valid driving licence
路 An understanding of waste and recycling collections
路 A good level of physical fitness
路 Flexible, willing and able to work unsocial and additional hours when required
路 Must be customer focused
路 Must be a team player
路 A sense of pride and commitment to do a good job
路 Common sense and good judgement
路 The ability to work in all weathers
- Salary- 拢27,000
- Hours TBC
