CMA Recruitment Group are working with a rapidly growing business based in Fareham, Hampshire.  They are looking to appoint an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their longstanding, friendly team.What will the Purchase Ledger Assistant role involve?

  • Process a high volume of supplier invoices, including matching to orders and delivery notes.
  • Carry out regular supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Run payment runs on a monthly basis, ensuring all supplier invoices are uploaded.
  • Policing correct ledger coding and department approvals.
  • Dealing with supplier queries over the phone and via email.
  • Any other accounting duties reasonably required by the Finance Manager.

Suitable Candidate for the Purchase Ledger Assistant vacancy:

  • Relevant finance experience within accounts payable.
  • Educated with a relevant accounting qualification - AAT or equivalent.
  • Outstanding communication skills are essential both written and verbal.
  • The ability to work off your own initiative and a strong team ethos is essential.
