Academics is recruiting a Maths Teacher for a small school in Fareham that specializes in supporting pupils aged 14-19 with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH) and autism (ASC).
The school has 27 pupils who are preparing for further education or career opportunities and requires a teacher to deliver Functional Skills and GCSE Maths lessons both individually and in small groups.
Candidates should ideally have experience working with young people with SEMH and/or ASC, although this is not mandatory.
This ongoing, temporary to permanent position is set to begin as soon as possible.
The salary for this role is competitive, and applicants should have relevant teaching experience to be considered.

Maths Teacher - (SEMH & ASC) - FarehamAcademics are recruiting on behalf of a small school in Fareham which caters for pupils aged 14-19 years, specialising in both social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) and autism (ASC). They currently have 27 pupils on roll who are preparing to transition into further education, or working towards a career.They are looking for a passionate Maths Teacher who is able to plan and deliver Functional Skills and GCSE Maths lessons to pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis. All students have an EHCP and are offered tailored qualifications and experiences including vocational subjects, functional skills and GCSEs.

The suitable Maths Teacher will ideally have experience of supporting young people with SEMH and/or ASC, although not essential.
