Job Overview:
Supply Desk is currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Maths Teacher for a Secondary School in the Fareham area. This long-term contract position, starting in September, has the potential to become permanent. The successful candidate will teach Maths across KS3 and KS4 in a supportive department within a school graded “Good” in all areas in its latest Ofsted inspection.

The school is a mixed Secondary School in Fareham, catering to students aged 11 to 16 years, with around 1000 students in total. Known for its supportive SLT and commitment to school values, the school provides a nurturing environment for both staff and students. Free parking is available onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons in accordance with the school’s curriculum and policies.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Establish a positive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal development.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a collaborative learning community.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
- Experience working with secondary school students is desirable but not essential.
