People Group are looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager from a Water background to work for aleading service provider in the water and wastewater infrastructure sectors in the UK.

Position: Mobilisation Manager
Rate: 27 per hour Inside IR35
Location: Fareham
Duration: 12 months

Responsibilities:
  • You'll lead the seamless setup and handover of new projects and contracts.
  • Ensuring successful project initiation, minimising disruption, and maximising efficiency from day one.
  • Develop comprehensive mobilisation plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk assessments, and communication strategies.
  • Lead the execution of mobilisation activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and deadlines.
  • Develop and implement transition plans to facilitate the smooth handover of projects from the mobilisation phase to operational teams.
  • Monitor and evaluate the transition process, identifying and addressing any issues or risks.
  • Manage client expectations throughout the transition process.
  • Identify and assess potential risks and issues associated with mobilisation and transition activities.

Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in mobilisation and transition management, preferably within the Water sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Relevant Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
