The Role:

Silcom Recruitment is currently searching for a motor trade Fleet Service Advisor to join one of our valued clients, based on the outskirts of Fareham.

This role is crucial to the success of the company as they continue to expand their maintenance services and support their clients across the UK in keeping their vehicles on the road and fully compliant.

If you are currently working in a dealership or garage environment as a Service Advisor or in a similar role and are looking to move away from weekend work while maintaining a rewarding career in the motor trade, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

You will be part of a dynamic and customer-focused team, playing a key role in delivering outstanding service while ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet maintenance processes.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Fleet Service Advisor:

Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing excellent customer service.

Enter new vehicles onto our maintenance system and keep records up to date.

Schedule and coordinate routine maintenance work.

Maintain accurate vehicle service history records.

Update our CRM system with all relevant details.

Oversee maintenance expenditure and authorize work when required.

Ensure all vehicles remain legally compliant.

Price and raise maintenance contracts.

Manage vehicle taxation.

Identify and highlight recharge costs to finance.

Process speeding, parking, and penalty fines.

Monitor MOT progress and send out reminders.

Package:

Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 with a quarterly bonus.

Hours: Monday to Thursday [9:00am - 5:00pm] Friday [9:00am to 4:00pm] No Weekends!

Other: 22 days holiday plus bank holidays increasing with length of service plus many other company benefits.
