NATS are looking for a Solutions & Consultancy Manager to join them on an initial 6-month contract at their site in Fareham.
- Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be willing to obtain full SC Clearance.
- Hybrid working, 2-3 days a week onsite.
- Inside IR35, rates are open to negotiation.
Role Purpose
To lead business winning activities associated with the delivery of a portfolio of customer based solutions across the New Airspace User Business area ensuring NATS can effectively respond to its customers; often requiring the creation of high complexity, high value, and/or strategically important proposals and associated consultancy offerings
To lead a highly agile team of subject matter experts across the international business portfolio providing clear leadership, direction and guidance to ensure all proposals and consultancies meet our customer's requirements and expectations
Key Accountabilities
- Lead business winning activity relating to solutions & consultancies across the NAU business.
- Lead the development of a portfolio of solutions across the NAU Business.
Ensure solutions are in accordance with the NATS Approvals Process.
- Lead and manage the Solutions and Consultancy team ensuring a positive team environment.
- Develop and sustain sound relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, building trust and partnerships to support business development and delivery of effective solutions for existing and future requirements.
- Lead and mentor team members ensuring a highly engaged, motivated and driven team.
- Lead, direct and review quality and improvement across the NAU solutions portfolio.
- Utilise subject matter expertise to influence decision making through knowledge, experience, engagement and relationships.
- In conjunction with the Head of Delivery Identify and drive financial and operational efficiencies in planning the delivery of solutions throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Provide intelligence and input to the product and services lifecycle, including product development, product enhancement and regularly review the portfolio of products to ensure they remain relevant to the International market needs. .
- Lead the coordination with the other NATS P&Ls and Solutions & Innovation team.
Qualifications, Skills and Personal Attributes
- Hold a recognised Degree or equivalent.
- A Recognised NAU SME in one or more Solution areas.
- Proven leadership skills
- Excellent stakeholder relationship management experience.
- Proven track record in delivering high quality proposals and solutions within constrained timescales.
- Knowledge and understanding of commercial processes and complex pricing models essential.
- Sound understanding of the customer and strategic market drivers which enables the development of future solutions and products.
- Culturally aware and sensitive to different business practices, communication styles and customer expectations.
- Can apply product and service knowledge to develop solutions that meet customers' needs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Can deliver engaging and professional presentations, reports, workshops and solutions.
- Able to work autonomously.
