Job Description: We are seeking a committed, hard-working and patient Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team on a temporary, full-time basis. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support the learning and development of students, particularly those with additional needs, and may include one to one support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Support classroom activities and help maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Monitor and record student progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN, in a healthcare or educational environment.
  • A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or child development (preferred).
  • Motivation to help children with SEN have an advantageous start at life!
