Full-Time Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant

Location: Fareham

Salary:From 15 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time SEN Teacher to join one of our friendly and supportive SEN School in Fareham.The School are looking for a dedicated SEN LSA, ideally with classroom based experience but experience working with SEN in any capacity will be considered.

The role is Monday-Friday, 8.45am-3pm each day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student.
  • Foster a supportive and engaging classroom environment that encourages participation and promotes confidence.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and parents, to support student learning and development.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary to meet individual needs.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an SEN environment is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of different learning styles and strategies for supporting students with various needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to teaching.
