Job Title: Aerospace Painter (Metal Finishing Department)
Location: Titchfield, Fareham
Shift: Core Day Shift: Monday-Thursday (7:30 am - 4:15 pm), Friday (7:30 am - 11:30 am)
Pay: Skilled: 16.28/hour PAYE + holiday pay (increasing to 16.77 after 12 weeks)#
Our aerospace client is seeking an experienced Painter for their Metal Finishing department. The ideal candidate will be skilled in surface preparation, specialised coatings, and applying finishes with high precision and attention to detail. Familiarity with safety standards, quality control, and advanced painting techniques is essential. Strong collaboration and documentation skills are also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply specialised coatings for aerospace conditions (e.g., heat-resistant, anti-corrosive).
- Prepare surfaces (cleaning, sanding, priming) for painting.
- Ensure precision and accuracy to meet aerospace standards.
- Operate painting equipment such as spray guns and brushes.
- Adhere to safety and regulatory standards
- Conduct quality inspections and maintain detailed records.
Eligibility: Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK freely, adhering to ITAR restrictions.
