They currently have 27 pupils on roll who are preparing to transition into further education, or working towards a career.The are looking for a passionate Functional Skills Teacher / Instructor who is able to plan and deliver Functional Skills English and Maths / Literacy and Numeracy to pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis. This is the ideal role for someone with an English or Maths Degree, or A Level and is looking to get into teaching, or someone with experience of delivering English/Maths/Functional Skills but does not hold QTS.All students have an EHCP and are offered tailored qualifications and experiences including vocational subjects, functional skills and GCSEs.The suitable Functional Skills Teacher / Instructor will ideally have experience of supporting young people with SEMH and/or ASC, although not essential.This is an on-going, temp to perm position starting ASAP.If you are an English Teacher / Maths Teacher / Functional Skills Teacher and live in the Fareham area, please apply.
