Senior Commercial Broker required. My client is an independent insurance broker based in Oxfordshire, and due to recent growth are seeking an Senior Commercial Broker to join their friendly and welcoming team.

My client offers bespoke, tailored insurance solutions for businesses in the UK and the EEA and they pride themselves on the service they provide to all of their clients.

Senior Commercial Broker Position Overview

Be the point of contact to an existing book of commercial clients - ranging from large corporate clients to SMEs
Maintain strong professional relationships by providing a first-class service to all our clients
Ensure you are operating within the regulatory requirements
Support other team members when necessary
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial sector
Develop and implement strategies to grow the client portfolio

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the commercial insurance market, exceptional client relationship management skills, and a proven track record in business development. You will be responsible for advising clients on the best commercial insurance products to meet their needs, negotiating with insurers, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Senior Commercial Broker Position Requirements

Experience working in General Commercial Insurance (7+ years)
Experience generating and placing new business (3+ years)
Experience working within the EEA would be ideal (not essential)
Previous experience working on commercial insurance risks
Excellent technical insurance knowledge
Confident dealing with clients' and their board members
Must hold a valid driving license

Senior Commercial Broker Position Remuneration

Basic salary up to £60,000 (depending on experience)
25 day's annual leave + plus bank holidays
