We are delighted to be working in partnership with a successful and friendly independent insurance company who are looking to recruit a Commercial Broker to join their team.

Our client offers a favourable benefits package including Performance related bonuses and Hybrid working.

With the role comes an existing book of business and an opportunity to develop your own portfolio of standard & non-standard Commercial Accounts, Risks and Schemes.

We are seeking a professional, ambitious, career minded individual who is looking for their next opportunity in a successful insurance company.

Responsibilities include:
. Looking after existing commercial clients, from SMEs to larger corporate clients
. Maintaining relationships by providing excellent customer service
. Further developing the current book, by:
a. cross selling techniques and business development
b. the development of existing insurer facilities in the UK and EEA
c. developing the existing scheme and target markets
. Operating within regulatory guidelines
. Supporting other team members as appropriate/necessary to ensure a first-class service to all of our clients

Requirements:
. 3+ years' experience in General Commercial Insurance
. 3+ years' experience in generating and placing new business
. Experience of Broking within the EEA would be an advantage as would a knowledge of arranging insurance for companies trading internationally
. Driving license

The ideal candidate will have:
. Experience of working on Commercial Insurance risks
. A proven track record
. The ability to work as part of a team with the other Brokers
. Excellent technical insurance knowledge
. The self-confidence to effectively deal with clients' boards and board members
