Our client a very busy contractor operating in the UK, Europe and North America working within the industrial, pharmaceutical datacentre and commercial project sectors require a Snr/Lead M&E Project Manager from a construction background built background to oversee a new datacentre build in London. You will be suitably qualified with 5+ years working experience at a senior/lead level ideally within the datacentre and or pharmceutical/laboratory project sectors.in a Project Management position. Your responsibilities will include

  • Managing site team and effective day to day running of site activities.
  • Conducting monthly team meetings to discuss project progress against milestones to deliver the project successfully.
  • Ensuring compliance with programme, materials deliveries, engineering, quality and safety in conjunction with
  • contract requirements.
  • Attending meetings with client and holding weekly progress meetings with sub-contractors covering health, safety and training.
  • Ensuring effective cost and sales control in conjunction with Q.S & Lead Engineers whilst ensuring productivity at work face is measured on a weekly basis also maintain project progress control.
  • Submitting monthly internal reports and minimising company exposure to risk on the project.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant technical aspects within construction industry standards and local authorities requirements if applicable.
  • Managing labour and subcontractors ensuring compliance for installation.
  • Creating and executing project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs.
  • Establishing  an effective material stock control and storage system.
  • Auditing and preparing on-site quality plans, monitor & maintain site EHS requirements.
