Our client, a well established building and civil engineering contractor based in the North West are currently looking to recruit a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will play a role in managing the costs and financial aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with senior Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. This is a fantastic opportunity for a gradyuate to kick start their career in thew industry.

  • Ensuring project costings are met
  • Ensuring compliance with the project requirements
  • Agreeing variations
  • Process claims and payments
  • Producing and managing costing reports
  • Considering the Environmental Assessment Methods requirements when choosing suppliers and agreeing products/materials costs
  • Assist in reviewing, preparing and issuing Forecast Final Account (Cost Report)
  • Assist with final accounts on completion of works
  • Working and reporting into the Managing QS

Requirements:

  • Qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Full UK driving license
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or effectively within a team
