Learning support assistant for children with Special needs

GSL Education are currently working with a wonderful Special Needs Secondary school situated close to Farlington. This school are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team.

This school caters for children who have special educational needs, including those with social and communication difficulties, autism, speech and language difficulties, and learning difficulties. The school prioritises outdoor learning and being outside as much as possible.

Job role:

-            Supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and communication skills.

-            Working under the guidance of a teacher supporting small groups of pupils with learning tasks.

-            Creating a supportive and nurturing environment where the needs of all children are met.

-            Safeguarding will be your number one priority ensuring the welfare of the pupils.

Job specification:

-            Full time 8:45am – 3:15pm (Mon – Fri)

-            £76.92 - £95

-            Temporary to permanent contract

-            Location: Farlington

-            Start date: ASAP
