Financial Accountant - About The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll take the lead on statutory reporting, external audits, and HMRC matters, ensuring the seamless submission of consolidated accounts to Group HQ. You’ll also play a pivotal role in treasury management and cash flow forecasting, plus provide vital support in management accounts—particularly stock reporting.
- Lead on statutory reporting and manage the external audit process
- Oversee HMRC reporting and compliance
- Prepare monthly and quarterly consolidated accounts for submission to Group HQ
- Manage treasury operations and cash flow forecasting to support business growth
- Support the Financial Controller with stock reporting and management accounts
- Treasury management and cash flow forecasting
The successful Financial Accountant will have/be:
- Qualified in CIMA / ACA / ACCA (or equivalent)
- Experience working in industry, ideally within a product-based business
- Strong background in subsidiary reporting and liaising with Group HQ outside the UK
